I feel like that sea-foam green house in the second photo is getting angsty at the lilac house next door, saying "watchoo doin, gettin those pussy colours all up in mah grill?" (when in actual fact he's quite pleased with the contribution.)
@Ivy - I know exactly what you mean. It feels like Seafoam is trying to encroach on Lilac's territory in protest.
@Meg - You can get to Brighton really easily from London, its only an hour on the train from Victoria station. Definitly worth a visit, although I think you should go during the week, its full of the dregs of British society at the weekend and is a bit horrible.
I think in NZ we don't need to paint the houses nice because the seaside towns already look nice. This is in stark contrast to otherwise concrete buildings so is effective. In NZ it would get lost amongst glorious splendour of nature!
Those colorful houses are amazing!! I would love to go see them when I'm in England next week. Incredibly cool
