I'm obsessing over clean, organised workspace right now, to tide me over until I get to go to Ikea and fix my own workspace up.
I want it to be light.
I want it to be functional.
I want it to have good storage solutions. SOLUTIONS.
But most of all I want it to be big. Which is the one thing I can't immediately change, so lets put that on the dream board for post world-domination.
Have you recently fixed up your workspace? I'd love to see it, and live vicariously through you for the next few weeks. In the meantime, you can join me in daydreaming about the perfect office space over on Pintrest.
We changed our spare room into a office recently, with a long double desk for Tze and I to work at together (side by side). It's nice - it's by a window so there's plenty of light, and the desk was only £25 from IKEA so it didn't break the bank to do. It's nowhere near done but it's so much better than what we had before!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Pinterest board for it if you haven't seen it already :) http://www.pinterest.com/sarahmia/house-office-musiccraft-room/
Aren't workspaces always the messiest spaces?! I cleaned mine up recently, but it was only because I was expecting company. I don't know, I like the thought of a tidy workspace, but it seems like it's a lot harder to get stuff done when I'm constantly worrying about putting everything away and keeping it neat. Also, I'm going to need to see more of your painting!
ReplyDelete1. make sure you buy the super cool/white bulbs for your lights!
ReplyDelete2. and/or you could buy one or two of something like this: https://www.google.co.uk/#q=led+panel+light&tbm=shop to create some windows in your space. http://peopleawareness.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/daylight2.jpg maybe get two and put them high up (almost at the ceiling) on the non-sloped wall?
3. paint the room white?
