My digital SLR just floats around the house, I apparently pick it up occasionally to take photographs of books I have lying around waiting to be read. I suspect I require new shelves.
a/ I haven't read it yet, but I will tomorrow. I have been NAUGHTY and buying new books and my piles keep growing!
b/ I have read the first few chapters and got a bit annoyed by how its indie cliche after indie cliche. You live in Portland. You draw birds? You like to knit. WE GET IT. Also its a hardback and really heavy to I have been lazy and not carried it anywhere, I'm waiting for a rainy sunday to sit on the sofa with a pot of tea and power through it!
I think you should get on a bus and come to Crouch End and I will take you to the Haberdashery for lunch and the Oxfam bookstore around the corner and we can totally resolve this.
A) isn't eating animals great?
ReplyDeleteB) how is wildwood?

It's amazing how much books furnish a room - I left mine in boxes up north and my room looks a bit bare without them. x

DeleteQuite frankly, that sounds awesome.
DeleteMy books are all over the place & I need some a shelving solution badly. LOVE these photos btw, it's true that books make gorgeous décor.
