Beside the Ocean

This year for my birthday weekend I broke tradition and rather than make my annual trip to London Zoo, the Boy and I ran away to Brighton for a couple of days. These couple of days also happened to be the hottest days of the year thus far, which of course meant that all of London was beside the sea with us.

We got there early though so managed to enjoy a brief spell on the beach before the hoardes descended.
And some quiet time while the masses departed, perusing the book market as it closed and drinking Glastonbury Cider while the sun went to bed after a hard day at the office.
