bone heads

Remember when I made a list of placed I wanted to go? Within a day of making this list, I had booked a train to Kent to visit some I N T E R N E T friends and bones and taxidermy and crossed 2 of these places off my list at once, hitting up both Quex Park and St Leonards Church and its wonderful crypt at the same time with Sophie and Jack.
St Leonards is wonderful - if your definition of a wonderful is an early Autumn afternoon standing in front of shelves of 2000 skulls and piles of bones, all from various periods of history, while a man tells you all about them while you wonder what your skull looks like and start to give the skulls names. This actually is my definition of wonderful, it could be a bit niche I guess.
Y'all should go.
