Kaukapakapa is the one horse town I grew up in. My family has lived there since after WW2, but interestingly there are Tanners in this churchyard who perished from the Spanish Flu after WW1 that are no relation.
I quickly snapped these on my iPhone while my 3 year old nephew poked a dead rat with a stick, which is pretty much all there has ever been to do in Kaukapakapa.
